Brian Warren received his B.A. in Literature from Yale University and his Ph.D. in Classics from Johns Hopkins. Between undergrad and grad school, he taught fourth grade in Harlem and coached swimming in Cincinnati, where he grew up. He has taught at Washington University in St. Louis and Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. At Wake Forest, he teaches both in the Classical Languages Department and the Program in Interdisciplinary Humanities. He is the author of the article on Alcibiades in Oxford Bibliographies Online: Classics, and also has a master’s degree in Library and Information Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. In his free time, he enjoys swimming, watching soccer, and learning foreign languages on Duolingo.
